INR (lithium nickel manganese) chemistry.
I have two batteries and it turns out that each one has more miles in it than I do, so I want to store one against the day that the other wears out.
Assuming a life of 500 full charge/discharge cycles and keeping the active battery between 20 and 80 percent of full charge, I am thinking that's at least a couple of years for the backup battery tb on the shelf.
Understood that room temp is good and refrigeration is bad.
But what about charge level?
Periodic discharge/recharge?
Other considerations?
