Hub motor not fee spinning when phase wires connected

Hi there, I've just connected my 45a sabvoton ( MQCON) to my 1500w rear hub motors phase wires but the wheel doesn't spin freely, it's as if 2 odd colour phase wires are touching, but when I connect the included controller it spins freely.

Any ideas guys as I'd prefer to use the sabvoton and not the included controller?

Most likely your controller blew a fet .

Well, explain yourself better.

Battery connected?
Trying to spin it with throttle?
Or just trying to spin it by hand when connected to the controller?

Be clear about what you did and the result.

No battery conned, so no power or throttle. All that is connected is the hall and phase wires, and when it's being spun by hand.

If it is a blown fett, I'm guessing that it's just a case of finding the blown fett or fetts and swapping it out. Luckily I have got a few old controllers knocking around so hopefully one might be suitable.

If not has anyone got a good UK supplier?
