identifying e-bike motor

I would like to know what kind of hub motor this is. Sorry for the picture quality.

I could't say the model, but this is possibly a geared brushless 250W rated motor

Yes it is a geared 250w 24v, should have written that. Bought from v-power in a kit on ebay.

But I was wondering more in the lines of if it's a bafang or what it is.

Has it got any markings on it? The first two letters of the marking normally give a clue to the factory. It doesn't look like a Bafang to me, but that doesn't mean that it isn't.

A v power kit will not likely be a bafang, but it may well be near identical to one. I'd bump it to 36v with a new controller, and run it on500w.

how big of a benefit would it be to swap the controller to 36v, when I can run 36v with the 24v one, atleast for a while.
