Agreed, and some of the VESC setups are indeed very well made. I'm in for the VESC-X
$149.46 (price drop!)
(They would discount a group buy.)

ScooterMan101 said:Do you think they ( enertion ) would make for us , a direct plug/plug adapter , to plug in a standard 3 wire e-bike throttle ?
Meaning a plug on the board for plugging in a 3 wire e-bike throttle . or an adapter connector that mates 3 wire e-bike throttle plug or wires , to connector that plugs into one of the plugs I see on the board.

Easiest solution is to just buy some 3 wire pigtails. I found this one locally. https://littlebirdelectronics.com.au/products/jst-jumper-3-wire-assembly
It would be nice to have a true plug and play solution with an adapter that takes up the full 7 pins on the vesc and adapts it to a standard ebike throttle connector. Might look at making a few of these up.

How would you do this John, how would you protect the other pins. I can't picture it.

HK is one of the poorest places to get misc parts IMO. Places like Spakfun, Mouser and others are electronics professional suppliers. Much higher quality and often products that are direct and better fit. All JST connectors are not equal as has been alluded to. Some ship For Class mail and often un $5. I can always find a couple of parts to add to my repair box to make an order worthwhile. But that's just me...ScooterMan101 said:I am sure Other people would like to get the correct pins/connectors through H.K. as well since many people
order Wire/Solder/Etc through H.K.

PICTURES PLEASE? Sounds great!ryan74 said:Hi everyone,
Just took my first ride after installing Kepler's bracket. So happy with the results. A few little hiccups along the way but nothing too difficult, running 6s lipo and two button throttle setup as described earlier in the thread. Bike measures 10.13kg with battery, will easy get down to about 9.5kg. It's a Cannondale lefty mountain bike and tonight I'm just using furious Fred mountain bike tyres and there was no issue with hookup. Will measure speeds tomorrow but felt about 45kmh on the flat. Thanks for everything Kepler, It's awesome.

Kepler said:Sure, no problems. You would need a minimum of 10 though setup 2S5P. That would give you 24V and 20A
