Magura throttle with current limiting

Hello I am going to get a Magura throttle because I am sick of replacing the cheap plastic twist ones! I read that you need to add a resistor to get proper throttle modulation but what about if I am running the current limiting throttle? (the one that goes through the cycle analyst) Do I still need a resistor and if so where exactly do I solder it in?

I have a magura on my bmx and ysr. Its not hard to do. To get full range of motion on the ysr i used a 1k ohm resistor on both the positive and negative wires. I think some have an adjustable pot too!
