Who would have made a great woman politician? Well, she made a great ambassador/appointee. But this is someone who's nice and worked for real. Just finished watching it, I did not realize it was that bad, I need to watch more documentaries.

How frocked is it to burn tree's for energy and call it renewable, or using dirty power to start sun energy mirror plant, or lie to the public about how much of the energy needs is really supplied by wind and solar.

Oh well, I gotta hop in my Ford F150 and go grocery shopping then see what the oil drilling count is for the day for Alberta.

I wish Moore had referenced such things as the Keystone pipeline's intention to replace the trains which caused more damage every time there was a single train wreck than you could project the potential leaks to do in the entire life of the pipeline, let along how dirty those trains are when they're running. But greenies are thugs about keeping these things secret. Why, though? What benefit is there to pretending it works?

Yeah well the smell of shit from burning waste would blend right in, to the surrounding area, from North Vancouver all the way to Chilliwack, 80km stench. OK OK I am biased I know, I am sure people just absolutely love GVA.

Just hope you aint near the power plant, breathing in all the contaminants from the smoke stacks.

From what I have read in reviews, it focuses heavily on our desire (co-opted or otherwise) to find technological solutions which allow us to continue to live extravagant lifestyles, rather than embracing the highly unpopular concept of, you know, just consuming less.

I'll reserve judgement until after I've watched it.

Its an interesting Doco.
But , its not actually a M Moore diatribe,..he doesnt appear in it, doesnt say anything, and is not mentioned.
The entire documentary was written, produced, narrated, edited, and presented by Jeff Gibbs (?)
Moore is the Executive producer, i suspect just lending his name to it for PR attention.
But presumeably he does agree with the content .
Make up your own mind , but as with most Doco’s not all of it will ring true with all viewers....
..but its main points are..(spoiler alert !)
Many “Green” schemes and organisations are not what they seem..basicly just money makers for a wealthy few.
Wind , Solar, Biomass , are not viable solutions to the worlds future energy needs., and are not actually environmentally beneficial .
.. a bit of a change for Mr Moore !
