It looks like an old school sensorless direct drive Wilderness Systems. Does it say Aotema on it maybe?

Wow yea that does look similar to the BD36 or BL36 Wilderness Energy motors that I can find pictures of online. Were all these motors sensorless? In the first picture I think I see a hall sensor connector. This is a motor that I found for sale, the guy has no info on it.

You're right, I didn't look close enough. That does look like a Hall plug... I have the same 700 wheel with sensored controller in my storage.

That's the sensorless Aotema, or the same motor from some other factory if it does not bear the Aotema logo. They were always only front motors.
Should be a medium fast wind, 25mph on 36v and 20 amps. 30 on 48v.
