Hi Guys,
just to share my new enclosure.
was trying a lot of options starting from plastic lunchbox to an old external CD-Rom Enclosure which manipulated to fit.
was trying to use Velcro, and strong 3M duble lock solution which none worked and the enclosure always got disconnected from the board :(

so i created a simple mold

went to a workshop which had a vacuum forming machine and created my own enclosure 3MM thick

then use a T nuts + 6M screws to put mount it all together on the board

+ add a battery voltage meter :)

Nice!
I want to do something along these lines especially as i smashed the front end of my enclosure on a speed bump on my first ride out last night! speed bumps are not my friend :-/
My only concern is waterproofing, as if i can't ride when its a bit wet, i'm not going to be able to ride much...

Vacuum formers are pretty easy to make though: http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-good%2c-cheap%2c-upgradeable-sheet-plastic-vacu/

One of the guys in Newcastle Makerspace made one recently, i'm looking forward to trying it out for a battery enclosure and a motor cover.

problem is that I cannot use my kitchen oven for my needed 60cm enclosure. so anything Id try to set up would require more money than I want to spend probably. looked around a little for shops that offer vacuum service, but germany is a service desert when it comes to workshops & co. :(

Nice... Those workshops are getting pretty popular. We've got a chain of them here open 24/7!

I actually met a few people there wanting to build electric skateboards lol.

Bahaha!
