Panasonic XU1 Mods

What are the typical ways to remove the limiter? I really don't feel like building an entire bike when I already own this one. It currently cuts out at 20km/h.

I do have experience building boards and wiring, so happy with very DIY solutions.

I don't think Panasonic sell this yet in America or Europe or other English speaking countries so it might be hard to find other users/ mods unless there are Japanese ebike forums somewhere. Looks like it's going to be sold as the GXO according to press releases. I hope they do release it in other markets the old Panasonic mid drives are some of the most reliable ebike motors ever made. It should be possible to boost the speed and possibly power of any mid drive by interfering with the way the motor/controller records speed, such as moving sensors or altering the gearing. A page on mods to the original Panasonic mid drive, in case it gives you ideas.
