Please help with "Not made in china" Ebike conversion

Try Falco. Everything manufactured in India FAIK, and genial owner (met him at Interbike years ago), but constant problems AFICR.

I'll look that one up, And the CroMotor too quite a beast... Though as said in an earlier post I think it is manufactured in China now as mentioned in this article I read up on the history of the development of the Gray/Greyborg frame and Cromotor
https://www.electricbike.com/cromotor-monster-hubmotor/

I'm also looking at Bikee as the Motor is made in Italy, not sure about the controller though
https://www.bikeebike.com/
That's some impressive Hill climbing load capability!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Er-qdqSIjc

Very stealthy look too as it almost looks like just a chunky chainwheel cover.

Though if Falco is really is all manufactured in India including the controller...
That would be smashing if it can deliver the performance required :bigthumb:

My bike builds that best avoided paying out to China have used salvaged motors and salvaged batteries. Both originally made in China, but China no longer gets paid for them (nor does it get to recycle them yet).

What if your Amurikan made gigglyboob has had the pcb board mass produced in that country you speak of. What about passive and active electronic components and chips?
Oh your tires, solder, brake cables, housing, seat, throttle, wire the list is long
Your cell phone, your computer, your monitor, any part of your car

I aim for Taiwanese manufacture too.

ROC, not PRC... My girlfriend says its ok IF I buy from Taiwan, not China mainland. You will find some companies specify they are from Taiwan.

Save yourself the $50 and de-program yourself from the Western propaganda....and yes, I have been to Tibet, Xinjiang and it is NOT what you think.

Maybe you should take your ebike, board a train to London and protest in front of Belmarsh Prison for the "illegal" detainment of Julian Assange:

Web search for "uyghur" on site:snopes.com suggests you may be getting snowed, manray.

When were you in Xinjiang, exactly? I was there in 2018 and it was absolutely human rights abuse on an unprecedented scale. Not genocide, but whatever you call it, it was horrible.

I don't know what human rights abuses you are talking about. No such thing. Look at Australia if care about human rights.

Web searches are useless....heavy censorship in the West. You have to see things with your own eyes. Have you been to China? As an American, have you been anywhere outside of the USA?

Anyway, back on topic.....buying from China is fine. It's the global manufacturer. Many Western companies have their manufacturing there. If you are "self sanctioning" then you are just loosing out and playing into the hands of the "Globalists" that want to enslave you.....

I think I'll be going to go for the 3KW Cyclone after all, after watching some videos on it it's a lot quieter than I at first thought it was, and with the Bluetooth controller it can be programmed to be street legal when needed

So what, a flick of a switch and you go from 3kw to 750w?

Don't worry about it, buy some holographic stickers and dont be an idiot riding it.

Exactly that, edit the settings from smartphone via bluetooth to legal power output and top speed, and unlock the limits for when I need them for the hills or offroad fun

To much work
$2 holographic sticker and your good to go

Interesting, I thought it was awful loud in the one I watched, but I guess it's just as well if people know you're coming. What kind of battery setup do you need, to make it deliver on its potential?

Some say a sinewave/foc controller helps reduce the noise of the mid drive cyclones.
Maybe a certain kind of grease can help to. I doubt they be inserting top quality greases into their motor gears.
Look into the gear material and what it can do if your so concerned about noise.

Otherwise just dont worry about it, its a continuous bell.

And you really don't think that massive systematic push to destroy Uyghur culture qualifies as human rights abuse? You have a pretty narrow definition there..

Of course, I still buy from China, my American tax dollars go towards plenty of horrible stuff as is, and my wife is Australian, believe me I hear all about the horrible stuff that government does.

How exactly is China destroying Uyghurs? You are just repeating propaganda. Why the concern for Uyghur's? Homeless Americans need your help.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rF7qDVBi0rc&t=26s

The facts are for everyone to see. Natives in the US and Canada, Aborigines in Australia, there culture have been destroyed.
Anyway, the main issue is NOT about Uyghurs. The Western Governments could care less. This Anit-China sentiment concerns Finance. China and SOC countries are building an alternative to the Western monopoly finance system and the "Private Central Bankers" that run the World will do their best to destroy it or own it. We normal humans are just being used as cannon fodder unless you realize the truth.

Australian news is as bad as American media. Pure propaganda. War can only happen if normal citizens are brainwashed. This exchange is meant to educate so people hear both sides of the story. Anyway, ALL wars are bankers wars. Here is an analysis of your Australian 60 minutes video:

Short article if you want to learn something: https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2021/09/29/the-living-dead-pax-americana/

This is a snapshot of China from a Brit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8JTmpnMwLI

That reaction video really was quite eye opening... Shows there's no good guys involved in this situation.

Just bad guys and bad guys

That video with the british fella though just seemed off, could have come straight out of a Dystopian sci fi like Aeon flux, as a home video of someone trying to make out that there is nothing wrong with the outwardly perfect seeming utopia...

Just his highly strung attitude, and couldn't let go of the beer thing.

Just... really wierd. Is it only me that gets that effect from the video?

Anyway... If Taiwan is caught up in the dodgyness as a pawn of the US...

Swinging me back toward a Bikee from Italy, If I'm going to be supporting mobsters of one type or another wherever I buy from, I might as well choose the ones that atleast have style!

On another point, the cultivate browser extension mentioned in this video looks like a good way to atleast know where you are buying from, so many listings lie about where they are manufactured now...

Are EzEBikes really manufactured in the UK?

Or are they just assembled from cheap overseas, possibly Chinese parts?

They seem almost too good to be true
