Found on engadget this falls into the 'why didn't I think of that?' category.
I'm surprised none of the bright bulbs here beat them to the punch.

I guess Manfred59's golfscooter comes closest.

Needed Live Luggage upgrades; bucket-seat formed top, third caster like that on the golfscooter, some foot-pegs & oh, I doan no, you can never go wrong with 72V of A123.

I been talking to a newbie locally, about a motobob-trailer that also has dual roller-blade wheels for carry-on style use (when disconnected from bike).

Non-powered of course... imagine pulling a hubmotor and accidentally hitting the throttle.

Nice pic BTW. 8)

lol, who sez americans don't have a sense of irony?
you do appreciate what you said is zaktly what the lycras say about us when the see a bicycle with a motor bolted to it?

Just like Robert Noyce foresaw a day when everything will contain a microprocessor from windows to doors, doorknobs, even paint, I want to see a utopian future where every wheel will contain & hub-motor & battery.
Every chair will be a motorized wheel-chair; hand trucks, baby-strollers, barcaloungers, you name it.
Motorized bar-stools would be very entertaining, you can drink & drive & maybe placate the desire to get that out of your system.
Including things that you wouldn't even imagine to come with wheels today, you just can't have enuf power-assist devices.

This is (?will be?) first product using the "The Ultimate Motorcycle Hub Motor"
