If yo have been mucking around with any wiring for any time , be it bikes, cars or what ever..even household wiring..you will soon come across the need to temporarily connect two or more wires, for a temp fix or a test to see how something works.

What are the choices

Strip twist and insulation tape,
chocolate block , screw type terminals
solder
or some sort of crimp on terminal

all time wasting or cost money , having to waste crimp connectors

Well just two days ago I found these, Wago block connectors. They come in 2, 3 or 5 way. Flip the orange lever, poke the stripped wire in and flick closed...suitable for 28 to 12 gauge wires.

Really speeds up swapping wires when trying to find a sensor motor phase/hall wiring.

Those look real cool, Neil! I use Posilocks which are screw type connectors, one per wire.

Ah yes, I had forgotten those.

You still use one of these per wire. The 5 way just allows connecting 5 wires together, that is not 5 in dependant circuits.

Had used the screw twist posilixks before but find these even easier.

Alligator clip wires...

Even worse than twisting and using insulating tape..
even the insulated ones are not fully insulated, you have to hold the two wires together . Cant stack them easily in block and clamp in a vice to easily swap wires, and if I wanted to go for a trial ride, i'd not fancy having all the connections made with those clips...
