Qs205 motor case bent?

I believe my outer casing is warped. There is a visible gap between the magnets. Anyone know how or where to get a replacement without the motor? Its a QS205 v3.

If your outer casing is warped the motor would most likely rub. From what I can see the magnets seem to be in the right place?

I don't think there should be a gap between thr magnets and its binding. Not sure if this is repairable. I can't seem to find anywhere that will sell just the outer rim. This really sucks because qs 205 motors are like 500$

I also don't see what gap you might be talking about. Do you mean this area highlighted in yellow?



Because that's normal -- there has to be a gap there. Now, it looks a little large here, but that's likely because you have the side casing off -- if you look at the side 180 to this, it's likely touching because the core is "tilted" when the axle isn't being held in place by both side plates.
