Sabvoton controller melted wires

Hey guys, when i was connecting my controller i accidentally shorted 2 connections on the controller. I opened up the controller and saw 2 burnt wires, along with a black spot on the motherboard. Is it fixable? Can a computer store fix these issues or do I better avoid that and find a specialist?

Just get a soldering iron and replace the wires yourself, shouldnt be a hard job.

Ok thanks, and what about the black spot on the motherboard? What can i do about that?

Get some Isopropyl and some cotton buds and clean it up, you may have just burnt the epoxy coating on the board and not the tracks themselves. If you have burnt the tracks they are repairable usually.
