Shunt mod on Fiido m21 controller

Guys after some help with a shunt mod I’m fairly new to bike modifications so I thought I’d ask first can the controller take the shunt mod ? Do I use 16 gauge copper ? Many thanks go easy please

The shunts are the two surface mount 10 milliohm resistors. For this type, I would recommend laying another 10 milliohm resistor on top of the existing ones to give a 1.5x boost. The other approach is to remove the existing ones and replace them with a lower value.

1.5x boost might blow up the FETs or cause overheating, so there is some risk here.

Can anyone give me advice on doing this with a R005 resistor.

OK brilliant. I soldered across the R005. Resistor and it want crazy fast.. And trebled in torque. But got so hot it was melting the glue on the outside of the aluminium case... So took the solder off..... If its possible can u send me a like on abay please.
