Hi,

I am building a new battery for my dirt bike with 30s15p NCR18650PF cells.
Currently the cells are connected with 0.4" x 0.006" (10mm x 0.15mm) nickel strips.

The average total current draw is about 90A, but the pack should handle short peaks of more than 200A.
I am unsure if an additional layer of nickel strips is enough?
I think about adding copper sheets which I could first solder to nickel tabs and then weld them on top.

Thank you for your input.

I would ad 2x 3.5mm2 Copper strips as series connection. Ex. Starting at right upper corner, 2nd and 4th cell down, till the right, last 6th cell and so on every series link. Hope, you understand what I mean. :)
