soldering aluminium

just came across a very nice way to solder to aluminium, not sure what sort of amperage it would handle,
guessing would be ok for pretty high amps but only guessing. Its a very simple method to coat the aluminium with a thin copper layer first before soldering.

What are you looking to solder **to** those materials?

Personally I prefer crimped terminations
