Tao Leo 84volt e-bike bms installation

Hello I'm new here and I also have no idea how to do what is needed to do. I have a 2021 Tao Leo e-bike and the bms failed. I bought a new smart bluetooth bms and a buddy installed it but it won't do anything or even let the bike charge. I live in Hope B.C and am hoping someone can tell me or explain to my electrician what to do or suggest a dealer that can install it properly near my home
