My apologies if this is a super open-ended question, but would any of you guys happen to know what electrical output a typical torque sensor sends on an ebike kit and how that is then read by the controller? I'm asking because I'm looking to build something similar to the Grit Freedom Chair for a friend of mine, and they want to have it be push-assist, so that when they push on the levers they can get a bit of electric help. I'm thinking that a modified torque sensor and PAS setup on each wheel should do it, but I'd love to hear what you guys think.
