That thing is so pathetic, it's almost a cruel joke that the whole concept of an EV is either stupid or impossible. Maybe NiMH patent-killers at Chevron invested in this to get Toyota to design a piece of shit. Houston is going to do ANYTHING it can to get people to think EV is stupid or impractical or undoable. Widely available EVs will bring big oil profits down overnight.

When I see something like this, I think that maybe a forum like this one may be ahead of business with an idea. It would be awesome if someone could come up with a basic Ebike conversion kit that would work on just about any bike. And for a few bucks.

It seems like it's mean from crowded Japanese streets and office buildings rather than the Segway for our more wide-open sidewalks.
