turnigy sentilon 100a hv controller problem

hi,

for my e-scooter project i have a sentilon 100a hv controller

yesterday i tested the controller with the wheel of the ground and everything worked great (with 10s lipo)
then i tried to connect the controller to the battery with an 220ohm 2w "anti-spark" resistor and got nothing
i tried it again without the resistor but the controller does not respond anymore.

what could be the problem? is the controller dead?
