    Down Rate Kelly Controller

Hello again, I have again a configuration problem with my system consisting of Kelly KLS6018N, Cycleanalyst 3.1 and the requirements for Ebikes in Germany. My problem relates to the time that the motor still produces thrust after you stop pedaling (PAS). I have already set the down rate in...

Reduce long term power with CA and Kelly

Nice Dogs. I have a Pyrenean Mountain Dog (70kg). My configuration is now running legally according to German rules. The only thing that worries me now is the large currents during recuperation. We will use a Kelly with 90A continuous current and 270A peak. I hope that the controller can really...

Reduce long term power with CA and Kelly

I have now been able to isolate the problem. It only occurs when I connect the GND line of the audio cable to the serial interface. It seems that I have a deviation between GND V_BAT and GND CA. Strange.

Reduce long term power with CA and Kelly

It is the backlight. Well I have a 10V PAS and the throttle connected. Not more.

Reduce long term power with CA and Kelly

Hello again, amberwolf many thanks again. It works like a charm. But... :) if I plug in the cable for serial communication the display starts to flash a bit. I do have this effect sometimes when pulling the brake. Should I be worried?

Reduce long term power with CA and Kelly

Hello again, I am getting a Kelly Controller with Cycle Analyst the day after tomorrow. I would like to test something with the Cycle Analyst. It is about the e-bike legislation in Germany. I would like to use the full power of the motor for 25 minutes. After that, the maximum power should be...

Disconnect motor phases at high speeds

We had a problem with our build at high speeds. A person who had never driven the vehicle before became very fast downhill. The top speed was three times as much the speed that the vehicle reaches on level ground with the slow motor. When the person stopped, the display of the slow motor was...

Disconnect motor phases at high speeds

Yes that's right. I have found concepts with multiple motors. But I have not yet been able to find how to disconnect the slower motor. On the DC side is not a good idea because of the extremely high voltages that could occur and possibly destroy the controller. Or?

Disconnect motor phases at high speeds

Hello people, I was talking to a colleague last time about why you don't use two motors for very heavy cargo bikes. One motor would be for extremely low speeds (0-8km/h) and another for high speeds (8-25km/h and more). Now for my idea, which I haven't found here in the forum yet: Couldn't 3...
