Half my EM3ev Order Arrived Today... + Insurance Stuff

The 750w vs 1000w is all about the programming, it is the same controller just set with a 25a limit in the software. You can easily modify it with the usb programming cable.

    Phaserunner BBSHD initial setup issues

It is written clearly on the PR v3 document that it isn't powered on by default and you need to short together the two yellow and white cable under the hearshrink of the throttle connector. Thanks for replying, it made me realize that there was in fact, no led indicator lighting up.

    Phaserunner BBSHD initial setup issues

Hi all, I bought the phaserunner for my BBSHD, but I cannot get it to connect to the PC. I have read the manual over and over, but probably I am missing something. First I have removed the BBSHD controller, then connected the motor phase wire and hall sensors to the supplied cable. Then I...

Is there a BMS for only charging?

Thanks guys , I will get that balancer board with my actual rc charger it is exactly what I needed. Maybe one day, I will buy a real bms but at that time I'd be better buying a real, secure and powerful brand new battery something like em3ev does.

Is there a BMS for only charging?

I have three small 4000mah 4S lipo batteries(turnigy graphene) that I charge separately , and put them in series(3X xt60 to one xt90) to use with my bbshd. Does a BMS exists for charging only those batteries? Something I could plug all balance wires into and plug the series discharge lead to...

    Another "stealth bomber" build.

It is a really impressive build for high power. You have great skills and it must be very rewarding to ride that bike on the trails after so much efforts. Good job.

    The 10.000W target!

Why not use the Adaptto controller and BMS, for high power that it what I would choose. For the frame I agree with you, the more bike looking it is the better for police to go by unnoticed if you don't speed.

    Ideas for power tether (backpack)

I assume a true coiled power cable would be perfect, but like you I didn't find one suitable.I used 12awg speaker wire nicely routed to the front along the belt strap of my backpack, once in front it goes down loosely the saddle tube to the bottom bracket to the bbs02 controller without much...

    Tranz X’s Logi X series M25GT motor

I love to see new motors, but I find these very integrated motors to be bad for the customer. A hub motor or a bafang can be removed and easily swapped. These motors (bosch, panasonic, etc) depend heavily on the vendor to provide support. I don't see an advantage for us in this type of design...

Alpine passes at low speed with Mid-drive ?

I say BBSHD with smallest chain ring 30T. As far as battery, Dolphin case is perfect get the most capacity you can afford, and 52v is ideal. BBSHD will make it easier because it already has gear sensor included with it, so it's easier to use for your wife.

48V 13.5 AH Sharkpack issue, battery always shows as full...

I also have a 52v battery with the bbs02. The problem is that you have an extra cell in there, instead of the 48v you got 52v. BBS02 measure the voltage from empty to full there is a variation on battery voltage wich is what you see on the meter. On a 48v battery, it is around 53v fully...

Bafang PAS - hows it work?

they keep constant cadence based on the assist level you choose. Let's say you select PAS 1, it will go faster or slower depending on the gear you selected with your shifter, but cranks will turn at same speed (or try to reach that speed if you choose level 9 and are in the smallest gear, it...
