So are we saying that at some point you have to have and LCD to set things up for just the pas and not necessarily a throttle ? If I never purchase a LCD display and just link a throttle to the So6 will it work ? Thanks.

Ha. Funny. I got it open. Standard threading - you just need an atypical wrench. Has anyone run the motor with just the S06p controller and no display unit Bms specs a S06p controller but also a display which changes some of the battery output settings. It I would like to simplify the set...

How did you open up the motor ? Does the plate on the side without the wires unscrew with normal threading ?

Thanks for the reply. I was planning to use the axel as opposed to the hub body to drive the sprocket so I figure I have to free up the axel and key it to the clutch. I just can't get the hub opened !! Ahh

In the process of converting a q75 to a midrive and hoping to drive the axel instead of the shell- how do I "open" up the hub- does the main side cover platscrew on with normal threading ? as in righty tighty lefty loosey ? thanks

Do you know if using a CA to limit voltage to a motor will damage the battery?I'm planning to use a 52v Samsung 29e 11.6ah battery with a q75 and will be dialing down the amps with the CA. And yes I got a grinfineon controller

can I use a EGO kit battery ( 48V 12.5Ah) with a 36 V 250w LSW-675 sine wave controller that has a 15 A current limit without damaging the battery or the contoller or motor ( a Q75 36V 250W hubmotor) ? thanks
