I turned my phase amps right down, and I'm not getting the error anymore, Its something about impacts...maybe wheel spin, which makes it error. I'm road riding/foot paths, but we have some rough foot paths where they transition to driveways or roads. I havnt noticed wheel spin when it cuts...

I also have a 7280 and am having the cut out issues AND the regen comes on, while I have it all turned off. But I'm only running a 52v battery at 50a, so I'm not sure how I can be hitting any voltage protection. Maybe I have my phase amps too high.

I'm not sure if this is completely relevant to your problem. But when I wasn't getting full power compared to the amps I was putting in, it was because the Current limiting voltage was too high. Turns out the current limiting voltage should be the same or similar to your Lack voltage. I see...

That was it!!!!! Nailed it! Changed the current limiting voltage to the same as my lack voltage and I was pulling over 3000w!!! Sooo good! Thanks alot! Thanks everyone that contributed!

I think the first time I read that from jbjork I read that completely incorrectly. Now I'm reading it from Bubblet its making perfect sense and that will be the next thing I try!

I've got 52v, and no matter how high I set the amps I get stuck at 2100w, it seems that my battery isn't up to the task, volts can drop by 6 under full throttle, so it might be too big an ask to be pumping out much over 40a

their 52 volt looks similar to what I have now, I might end up in the same boat.

I guess that 90a triangle could be ok, but not really to use at 90a, I certainly wouldn't be using it that high anyway. I've started talking to a battery building guy in my city, hopefully he can give me a few options. He mentioned testing some of his high amp batteries. I guess I'll see...

Thanks for that! That all makes sense! amps take care of wind and weight and hill resistance to a certain point but as it gets to top speed it slows no matter what. But when you increase the top speed with volts you accelerate harder for longer to get to your "previous" top speed faster. I...

I know the with the previous controller it did sag, but I wasn't paying close enough attention at the time to know exactly how much. I spoke with the battery supplier and they say their bms limits bursts above 40a to 3 seconds and then will only put out 40a. Which turns out to be exactly 2100w...
