Nissan Leaf module middle terminal; carry current?

Thanks for the links. The center leads are definitely smaller.. But it seems that the housing leads themselves are smaller, the actual pouch leads are the same size ad the main leads. Hmm, interesting. I would be very interested as to what the current carrying capacity of the center leads are...

Nissan Leaf module middle terminal; carry current?

Hey guys, I have a pretty serious problem I need some help with- I have a bad cell in one of my leaf modules... Long story. Can I use the center lead as a current carrying lead to use half the module as part of my pack? Thanks

    Battery terminal bolt within bolt

They did; I don't really like them tho. I still want to replace the bolts anyway, figured if I could find these bolt, might as well. Thanks for the reply.

    Battery terminal bolt within bolt

Hey guys, I am looking to rebuild my Nissan Leaf Module pack. I want to change the bolts to new bolts and I remember someone having terminal bolts that the heads were tapped for a smaller bolt, to attach your battery monitors to. Anyone know of theses bolts? I drew a picture to help...

    Me1003 with 600a 100v controller w/ regen

Turns out, it definitely works... Really well, too! I did go with the HPM12601, super smooth, works great and has a lot of great features the Altrax doesn't have. The batteries are Nissan Leaf modules.

Cycle analyst for high 100V motorcycle

Ok, so first- I'm, fortunately, not using a live frame ground. I ran a ground to each component :) so I will give the jumper a try! Second- #4 (current limiting switch) can actually be accomplished by the Kelly Controller. But only 50/100% switch (economy switch) I was hoping to vary it up...

Cycle analyst for high 100V motorcycle

I was planning on using the CA for mainly- Live Pack Voltage monitoring Live system Amperage monitoring (AH and KWH also) Throttle Mapping * Current limiting switch (not absolutely necessary) Speedometer ** Once I got the CA set up, I was planning on getting a Data logger to track data for...

By the way, if anyone has any input on the wiring diagram, it would be greatly appreciated. It's still a work in progress.

Cycle analyst for high 100V motorcycle

Wow, this took a different turn than I was expecting. Lol Ok, so when you say disconnect the CA, you mean just the throttle portion, not the entire CA, correct? *I have a vicor 120V to 12V 300 converter. Model VI-2T1-CV...

Cycle analyst for high 100V motorcycle

Ok, I understand what you are saying. I was having a hard time accepting that only the ThO from the CA was the only signal that needed to be connected to the controller. Especially not having a Gnd from the controller.. So I connected the throttle to the CA with a 470ohm resistor between the...

Ha, you got me. I WAS planning on making my own. buuuut full time school and full time work said no. So how could I say no to this system, especially at that price  Maybe when schools done :D I downloaded, read and reread the (sections relevant to me) manual, before, during and after...

Cycle analyst for high 100V motorcycle

Hey guys, I installed my Cycle Analyst V3 on my motorcycle yesterday and had a couple questions- How did you install the speedometer? The magnet that attaches to the wheel is made for a spoke, not a rim... Any ideas? I am using a Magura throttle with a Kelly controller, am I able to pass the...

    Help with Upgrade parts, please.

Thanks amberwolf! I see what you're saying about the gauges. I think I would like to see, at a glance, my battery voltages. I don't know how the display work, if I need to scroll to see it. Thanks for the CA suggestion. Looking into it now.
