hmm
HTB-Terry - you are up in Northern California.
Maybe i will try this dual Motor : )
I keep reading posts that say i'd still need to pedal up the hills.
I want something i can use pure motor if i choose. (so target assist 100%)
I asked with the e+,they said i could do that the entire way...
If I spend $1000 - I can just get the e+ bike with all i want (well that down and financing) so i'm looking at spending maybe $450 or so max(including shipping) on something till I can get the monster hill climbing power :D
And one of my biggest concerns is the learning curve of putting this all together.
I have not even owned my own bike for 20 years. So the thought of trying to figure out how to put all of this together, and the adjustments and nuances that go with building anything, or leaning any new skill -...
I'm going a bit out of order:
Awesome!
ah it must be fantastic up there.
I went up the ski bowl side two summers ago, and just meant to go on a hike. The snow was all gone that year, and i just kept going and going like the energizer bunny : )
I will go over to the Brewer Creek side this year : )
I have a lot to reply to!
I've been trying to research this, yes, need to talk with some who have them. Thank you
This is what i need to know.
At the same time, i need to know what to get that will do exactly what this will do, that i can go out and get, and EASILY put together or have...
: ) It took me a long time to acclimate. last time i did that climb, i t was unintended, i just kept going! I meant to go a few thousand feet only!
I know that very well from climbing!
Not much, but i take my car care and other such things seriously so will do the same with the bike
I...
here are some of the reasons I like the e+
And from the technical part of the site:

I sound like an advertisement for them! I rode this bike and LOVED it!
Just cost is holding me back.
So still deciding
Thank...
No. I wish i could get a bike up to the top. The grades to get to the top are - 80% and some sheer. I hope to get to the top soon, so far about 10,500 or 11,000 up.
I did talk with the people at Electric Motion e+ bikes and it will make it up to the top. It may slow on the 14% grades, but is...
I looked at the site
What a difference in Price!
I have a bit of time - Please keep me posted as to how yours does when finished
The batteries are quite expensive. I would get both the wheel battery (about 650) and the lipo (I think about 900 or so!) This would give a range of at least 60...
I have to ask just a basic question in all of this.
I like the idea of going inexpensively to be sure.
At the same time, I'm quite new to the electric bicycle motor.
What i have gleaned so far, well are a few things
Looking at the different motors, I want one that does not add drag when i'm...
!!Thank You!!!
The idea of actually trying some of these configurations is excellent. Any Californian's or Oregonians on this Thread?
I tried some bike (like bion-x) and was quite dissapointed.
I would recharge the battery in town. Would not waste my generator.
Looking to spend money on the...
Accepting that i may have to spend then, up to $3000 or so
what is the best route to go?
Although - thank you ! now I see a post of something more affordable.
Which are better at not overheating?
Also there's something with recharging - I remember on the E+ and making sure it doesn't get too...
Oh, I should add, i'm only 110 and vegan . The most weight i will be putting on will be water jugs and vegetables - which would probably make the load equal to that of a light man : )
Thank you all! Especially "veloman" : )
i mapped the longest route i would take

I am going to be camping - I will have a giant arctic fox camper on the back of my truck.
I can see i will hit up to a 14% grade at the most, much...
