Apparently this controller has something wrong with the 5v rail. Any load at all and it drops voltage like nobody's business. So hall isn't working. I'm not sure how to begin to troubleshoot it other than replace the controller, I'm using a dcdc converter set to 72.5 volts and the sensor less...
