Pics are too blurry and low resolution to read anything, or I'd try a quick google on the label info on the outside and then any markings on the PCB on the inside.

Some better pictures

It does, and there are dozens out there that do, but the pin configuration is very different. I'm thinking it might be a

MQCON Electric Motorcycle Controller Model ML7260

I simply plugged in the text from the label (bldc motor controller em-100) into a search engine and this was the first hit:

Looks similar, doesn't it?

The label says what website/company it is from: "examing18product" but I get zero useful hits on any variation of that. :/

I haven't checked to see, but since yours is from 2021 (based on label info, etc), maybe they've changed the designs over time, so it doesn't fully match what you find today?

But also....it's really common for companies to clone things, but not identically, and sometimes even to just label whatever product they have the same as what something else is labelled that sells really well, so they can hijack some of those when people look for the "buzzword" or model name. I've seen a number of controllers posted here over time that have used the "Votol" type of model number, but that probably weren't actually from Votol.

I just got my bench setup for it, any idea how to talk to it over serial?

If it's a real or clone votol that has votol firmware, you could use the votol software, or check out the threads where people have been trying to decode the votol interface(s). I don't know the details on those, or how far they've gotten, though.

If it's not able to talk to the votol software, it could either be incompatible (different protocol or datasets), or it might simply not have firmware written to do this (it might not be programmable).
