New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Thanks for the response, could the bearing that the end of the motor shaft fits into be worn? Is there a better bearing I can replace it with?

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Anyone had a brass gear shred to pieces? I was out for a ride yesterday and it became very difficult to pedal under assist and felt like I was fighting with the motor. Took the motor apart and took the brass gear out and this is what it looked like, the housing had load of brass "glitter" in it...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Yeah I'm going to start doing that, what I meant was can I put grease between the outer of the bearing and inner of the motor casing?

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Thanks I found them online too, just need to be sure of measurements. Removing the torque sensor from my current bike was extremely tough. Nearly tore apart my rubber mallet doing it. The sensor is in worse shape then my other one but the damaged bearing is stuck in the tube. How would I go...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

So I sent the pic of broken torque sensor to ebird store and they asked for a pic of the motor on the bike in relation to the chainstays. I sent them the pic and they say the motor is too close to the frame and I should increase the gap by putting a washer on or bending the frame. Obviously I'm...

This is actually out of my old motor, I haven't opened up my current broken one but I'm assuming I'll find the same thing

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

So I decided to take the torque sensor out of my old motor to see how it removes and what it looks like. After taking off the big gear I used a soft hammer on the axle to persuade the torque sensor out. This is what I found

My motor didn't come with gold washers, neither did my first one. I take it the gold washers are only in the older models with straight cut gears?

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Thank you for the link, went on pswpower website too and the found the axle parts you speak of. The video showing the problem doesn't exist anymore however. Looked at the manual and it seems confusing. When I took apart the axle on my motor there is a rubber cover, a circlip, a wavy piece of...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I've ordered a new torque sensor, is there a guide to install it? One of the posts mentions lateral force due to bad chain line, maybe this is my problem too. I only get good chain line through the smaller cogs on the cassette but lately I have been favouring my own power and using the bigger...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Opened the motor and it turns out had put the 5 pin connector in the wrong way round which is strange since I thought it went in only one way. Put it back together and the walk mode now works but not still not getting any assistance. The cranks are still springy though. Least I know the battery...
