I saw their slection before but the problem is is a 60 tooth costs $77. Not my cup of tea.
For comparison, JT sprockets has a 69 tooth rear for only $24 USD. JTR1135.69
The only thing is it's difficult to find in the US due to it fitting a model that I don't believe was released here...
after extensive searching the best 420 sprocket I've found seems to be:
http://www.jtsprockets.com/catalogue/part/JTR1131/
It's available in upto 65 teeth
it has a huge range of options.
The largest 428 sprocket I've found at 69 teeth seems to be...
I need information primarily on:
sprockets
freewheels
sprocket freewheel adapters
This is primarily for my son's MX650 razor, but I can see it being of use for others as well. I'll let you guys know if it works but there's a JT sprocket with an 80mm bolt circle pattern that is only about 1mm...
Hate to revive such an old thread but this was actually one of the top google results when I was searching for an electric throttle so hopefully this will help someone out.
All of the options here are good but there's some new ones now.
I just bought a SUR-RON replacement throttle for $36...
So guys, I have read about the battery problems before. It sucks that some parts of the Ebike are very robust, but the batteries lack long term support, rendering some e bikes useless, and inevitably headed for the dump.
Unless we do something about it.
I still don't know what I'm doing...
So far the attached is what I've got, I've just overvolted the stuff. Looking for more!
The dune buggy looks like it'll take an brushless my1020 just fine
the drifter, not so much.
I'm considering the Brushless MY1020 motor but I want some room for expansion. I'd like a thinner motor, and something that can take 72 or more volts, I've currently invested in 48V packs so 96V would be awesome but if not I'll get 36V packs.
Below the motor pictures is a picture of a 3000...
The makita power tool batteries worked awesome! The kart didn't run out of juice the whole run. I had a razor dune butty with a 8AH 48V pack from china that ran out of juice after like 20 minutes, and the makita powered dune buggy just kept on going. The batteries, about 8AH at 36V (only two...
Ok I briefly tested the kart with just two batteries in series. I think the stock packs are 5s2p. With the stock 300 watt mitor I need to measure the amp draw.
I will be using 4 batteries. 5s2p in a 2s2p configuration.
I guess that would be similar to:
5s8p?
Should handle the amp...
There are fork upgrades for the zuma, I admire your willingness to go big or go home!
One future idea for the battery pack problem, order multiple smaller packs. Wouldn't this mitigate the weaknesses you dealt with in the larger pack?
The makita battery packs are just the 18v battery packs for their power tools
Just like these:

I have two razor karts we're going to ride around on haloween dressed as mario kart characters.
I've ordered chinese battery packs (I actually have good experience with these, although not this particular seller) but they will not be here in time I'm afraid.
I have 4 makita batteries. Two...
I have another brand of battery from a haibike urban plus. I think it's different. Some curie bikes used the same mid drive and I think battery manufacturer, I'd like someone, if they have this bike, to measure the termial spacing and thickness if possible, thanks guys! Here's a pic:
I have a haibike with a tranzx drive and motor.
Some annoying issues. The software is locked. Battery life is diminishing as it ages. No local dealers to see what's going on with the small issues.
But, it's seamless with the torque sensor. It is legal, waterproof, all around pretty...
