    Food cart motor power requirements

Thanks for your input. Needs to move 400pds, 2-3 miles no faster than 10mph. Wheelbarrow motor was suggested, need to stop it also. Will check out simulator at any rate.

    Food cart motor power requirements

Thanks for the input. Wheelbarrow motor interesting concept, would not want to exceed 10mph and push 400pds or so.

    Food cart motor power requirements

I'm designing a food cart designed around a 3x5 foot stainless sandwich prep station. Total weight could exceed 400pds. How much motor power would I need? Figure 250-300 watts per hundred pounds? First attempt with a 2'x4' with 26" wheels burned up a 500watt motor pretty quick. (My son...

    Installing a BMS

New BMS solved the problem what happened with others is still speculative I have video of most of it because I was making a video on how to fix your battery (what a joke, if I ever get to editing it, pretty sure it'll turn into a video of how not to change your BMS.

    Installing a BMS

Thanks for the reply. We don't usually have a lot of trouble with static here in Florida with all the humidity and all though it is possible. Something happened with the BMS's during installation I was groping for an explanation.

    Identify this connector?

Purchased this motor from and ebay seller. It purportedly is a Suntour Motor manufactured for Raleigh and seems to be no longer manufactured. Problem is I can't seem to source the 9pin male connector from the motor. Before I cut it off and replace with something more standard, can anyone...

    Installing a BMS

Thanks for the info. Yes, section of battery was checked for proper voltage, I've learned much since original post, like don't solder with 13s header plugged in, one of the replacement BMS had a place to install a switch that was bridged to a O ohm resistor, I desoldered this resistor with 13s...

    Installing a BMS

The new battery showed full charge on LCD display but would not run motor. Connecting voltmeter across positive and negative of controller input,(battery output) meter could not settle on a voltage OL...... ) before BMS read 54.1 volts. . Decided to change it but the new one had no switch...

    CA3 10 volt regulator pt #

Thanks for the help. I ran across a "part selector" that you can plug these parameters into. Will try that. As for my CA, the high voltage shows on the 10volt out and it did fry my PAS sensor, but other than that the unit works normally. Thinking about removing part and providing that...

    CA3 10 volt regulator pt #

Can not find OEM 10volt regulator for CA-3. Searching DIGIKEY under "Similar Items" I found this:https://www.onsemi.com/pdf/datasheet/fqd7n10l-d.pdf . Anyone have an opinion as to it's compatibility, main parameters like input volts, amps and output look compatible.

    CA3 10 volt regulator pt #

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be one available anywhere. The big suppliers are estimating 2023 for an available date.

    CA3 10 volt regulator pt #

My CA3 is showing 53volts on the 10 volt output. Need a good part # for the regulator. Can find mostly 7800 series regulators which are only good to 35 volts. #'s on case DN2450 16 7C8W Elongated S (Sigma ?) for manufacturer symbol.

    Installing Bafang Torque sensor

Is anyone familiar with a Fuji bottom bracket? I was attempting to install a Bafang torque sensor (24tpi) into my Fuji Navajo bottom bracket and the threads seemed to be different. Threads seemed to start OK but got very hard to turn towards the end.
