I have a Lectric XP step through and like it except for it having a cadence sensor. I would much prefer a torque sensor. Does anyone know of anyone successfully adding a torque-sensing pedal assist to a Lectric XP?

As far as I can tell the chain is aligned, from my work with the motor mount and the vice. If it's misaligned it's not very visible. It does visibly have too much slack, maybe 2 inches of vertical play. I'll try just breaking the chain and removing a link or two before trying a chain tensioner...

I broke the freewheel on my my1016z2 by keeping the chain too tight. I would like to remove the current, broken freewheel and replace it. With the help of some adjustable pliers, a socket wrench and some time I was able to remove the nut on the bolt in the middle, but the freewheel is still...

Here are the pics of the motor mounted to my bike. As you can see the mounting plate doesn't fit perfectly, I assume because the top of the triangle it is mounting to on the frame is curved. The top of the mounting plate or the bottom can be attached and still get the motor's chain taunt but...
