Another update that I think a few were still questioning, the Q100H from BMS battery seems to include a speed sensor now. Before it seems as if people were saying speed would only show up with throttle, I am getting a speed readout with pedaling only, also it'll show the 1-2mph when I am walking...

Looks like when the suspension is fully compressed, the wheel might hit the battery. I'd get the measurements beforehand, good luck!

After the first ride, I am in love! It'll easily do 26mph throttle only, and I hit 30mph with peddaling. It is kinda scary on the road with a car in front of you that can stop a lot faster than you, I skid to a stop a few feet from running into the back of a car at a stop light.

At long last I am finished, it took a while to get 2 c washers shipped in after I realized I didn't have any. I have yet to ride it as it has been monsooning in oklahoma over the past week.

Think any damage was done by screwing the long ones in all the way? Required a decent amount of force to get them to screw in, and now looking through the disc mount holes on the motor I can see 6 holes that I probably caused.

None came with the motor from what I could tell, I was just using the stock ones from my old wheel. I ordered the motor from BMS battery, do they normally ship them?

So I tried to mount my stock disc brake onto my new q100h, and after screwing the 6 bolts in, the motor wont move. I take if off, and it works perfectly. Is it possible that the stock screws are too long and are digging in too far into the hub motor and causing it to not move? Anyone else have...

So with 700c wheel would it be pushing 25mph? Also would there be no torque for hills with that 260 wind in a 700c wheel? 36V should be good for his 20mph speed and 20 mile range then?

I am actually about to buy that exact same bike but with disc brakes. I am planning on using BMS battery for mine, but as I have not done it yet and have no experience, so I would take my advice with a grain of salt. This is just from recommendations from other members...

Do you have an update for 2015? I am really considering buying the same set up as you did, but I'm debating whether to spend the extra $100 for the panasonic bottle battery. The extra ~2.6 miles range doesn't seem worth it, and unless there is a huge difference in something i'm not thinking...

Okay, just to double check, if I order this motor linked and the battery from BMSB, I won't need anything else besides torque arm? As far as I can tell the battery has a controller built in, and it comes with the LCD, throttle, and all wiring I would need to connect everything...
