    Took bad fall shoulder dislocated.....

Visited with Orthopedic Surgeon shoulder specialist 3-weeks after accident. This is a 12-week healing process just to get to point I can start resistance training of atrophied upper body. Rehab going well, with passive range-of-motion shoulder exercises. No pain at all except if I lift arm from...

    Took bad fall shoulder dislocated.....

X-ray came back positive for "Acute nondisplaced fracture of greater tuberosity of the humerus". This explains type/cause/intensity of pain I have. Will see orthopedic surgeon in one week. He will probably x-ray again and prescribe MRI also. Two hour drive, so hoping follow-up consult can be...

    Took bad fall shoulder dislocated.....

Thanks for the feedback all. It looks like I'll leave the drop-bar bike hanging on the wall for at least a month. Etrike and Ebike at lease a month and will be reassessing how/where I ride. Fortunately I already have a nice routine figured out for maintaining fitness through cold months using...

    Took bad fall shoulder dislocated.....

The last time I went down over 2 years ago was because of hit/run incident with truck....this time it was totally my own stupid fault. I have a question about recovery times for others who have experienced this type of dislocation injury. I flipped trike during right hand turn and went into...

    Woods Fat-E-Bike build log.

2000-mile update. Bike is performing as it did when I first built it. Battery capacity is around 90% capacity compared to new. Motor is performing flawlessly. Spokes have needed tightening on several occasions. Wheels rue up easily each time. Rear tire is showing a bit of wear.....I need to...

    LifP04 pack....48V 150AH. 6AH cells.

Simply taking SxP approach pack would work in theory which would result in a 16S25P arrangement. Gut says to instead build several smaller 16S modules (each fused) and hook those up in parallel to bus bars. Pack maximum sustained current is 75amps (1/2C). Short bursts 150A (1C). Thoughts?

Over volting bafang g062 to 72V

The motor was too fast "unloaded".....I needed high torque and low speed for pulling power (90% of my riding is off road or in loose sand forest roads). After bench testing using a PS, I ended up building a pack with more AH and lowered voltage. I am very happy with results for my particular...

Over volting bafang g062 to 72V

I use the same motor. Over 1500 HARD off-road miles. Initially I was going to run mine at 52V. I ended up having to DROP voltage to 44V! Motor spins too fast for a 26x4" fat-tire build. Controller maximum amps delivered to motor is 35 amps. Max speed is 32mph. For Moto-Calc, use 9.3Kv and...

Transporting heavy ebikes - show me your solution

Thanks for the suggestion. Noted. I would not use it for 500lbs. Both my ebikes come in at around 1/3 of carrier's maximum 500lb capacity. 1200 reviews, 3% are one-star. Of those not a single failure....complaints mostly quality control issues.
