These are some of the notes I have kept that describe many of the settings: http://goo.gl/puHH4L --> pjgold's setting descriptions (slow start, start deg, wrk mode) http://goo.gl/HF6CWa --> 'Work Mode' setting explanation http://goo.gl/J6UOOc --> 'Current Decay' setting explanation...

    New Bafang Crank-Drives

That's exactly what happened to me. I had to carefully dremel it out. By looking I didn't see it since it was so uniform but after careful inspection I could feel the raised ridge from the seat tube going into the junction just a little too deep. Shanman3us

I trust this kit 100%. I usually use PAS and only the odd time do I use throttle but when I do use throttle, I am usually peddling along with it to keep the load down. I don't know if I need to do that but that is my riding style and I'm most comfortable with PAS. Shanman3us

No problem Tom. I'm new to this field as well. I know how confusing it is and, as was mentioned, there are many ways to read a statement since feeling can't always be conveyed especially based on nationality etc. I personally purchased from em3ev (Paul) solely based on all the information...

Savvas.... I appreciate the time and effort you expended to give such a comprehensive reply to tomjasz. I trust he'll be happy with your answer :D Shanman3us

    New Bafang Crank-Drives

Wow, you read way more into that reply then was ever intended. All I was doing was giving you a definitive answer in that it isn't the drive that is being talked about on this thread. I'm all for experimentation if I have nothing but time and money but I bought this drive because there was a...

    New Bafang Crank-Drives

Savvas Confusing to me, nothing new, but which is it? MXUS or Bafang? Anyone know or compare the two? It is NOT the drive that this thread is talking about and very likely not any iteration of a Bafang. Just because the web site put that in the address bar it doesn't mean anything. Most...

OK. I see where your coming from. I always tinker with my computers and have multi-boot etc. For me, VirtualBox works great since it is just a program that allows me to install a virtual computer. Regardless of it being XP, Windows 7, Mac OSX etc. Maybe it's different for a Mac as the host...

I don't understand. VirtualBox by Oracle is available for the Mac. No dual booting or anything. It just runs in a window on your Mac and you choose to load it whenever you want. You can still be running all your Mac stuff at the same time! I'm assuming you already have a disc to install...

That's what I do. I run Linux (in this case Arch) and then I use VirtualBox with XP running in there. It works perfectly. The USB adapter I got could only run in XP with the drivers that were available for it. Shanman3us

Bafang BBSxx - fault finding and fixes

Are you sure you don't have a C963 display? There is an error code 30 for that display as follows: 30 - Communication abnormality in system It's also possible that they have added that error to newer C961 displays  Shanman3us

@Kepler, Ken Taylor I appreciate both of your input on LVC. I guess my main concern is that I never accidentally take the batteries too low to do any damage to their ability to retain capacity when they get recharged OR worse yet never revive to anything usable if dropped too low. So, in line...

Ohhh... This is absolutely new news to me. I didn't know that. Looks like I need to do some more reading on BMS's. Thanks Ken... Shanman3us
