this is on a single speed system. it's all good, i'll probably just not adjust the amps unless I need to get more range since torque is more important than top speed
ah, thanks. I was actually hoping it would be the opposite, same rpm but more torque. guess not! So in general, amps have to do with torque and volts with rpm?
Does the "Battery current limit" value basically control how many amps are drawn from the battery? I have mine set to 75% with a 48v battery, which gives me 30amp * 48v = 1440w. If I switch to a 60v battery, and adjust the Battery Current Limit to 60%, that should give me the same 1440w...
I had it set at 55, I adjusted it down to 50 and it was still happening despite the lcd display reading much closer to 60 than 50. Though I have noticed the bluetooth app will report a lower voltage than the throttle display. Maybe it was dipping below those voltages briefly.
thanks, I was...
I'm assuming this is just what happens when the battery gets low, but my cyclone motor with the 60a bluetooth controller started cutting out tonight if I would juice it too hard. If I released the throttle it would work again.. I didn't have to turn off the controller or disconnect the battery...
I'm looking for some good looking 175mm ISIS crank arms that accept a freewheel and will clear the Cyclone 3000w with standard 68/73 bb. I see a lot of trials cranksets online but I don't want to spend $60-100 a pop to find out they don't clear the motor!
Has anybody tried anything besides the...

this looks brilliant.. super clean, no need for a BB mount or a tensioner puller. I was considering buying the Luna 3D mount for $140 shipped.. instead I just spend $16 on two clamps and I'll shoot a friend some cash to weld them up for me. :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb:
btw what did you...
I saw in this thread, someone used a 1k resitor and a 10uf capacitor, I suppose I will start there unless anyone has another recommendation. Looking at these circuits in a circuit simulator it seems like the RC filter itself adds quite a bit of smoothing just on its own
I want to build a little throttle smoother using an Arduino. I've seen online that most controllers won't accept the PWM output from the Arduino and it needs to be converted back to analog using an RC filter.
Can anyone recommend a resistor Ohm value and capacitor Farad value to use that...
I really wish a better mount option was still available :( It also seems like support for cyclone in general has been falling off. A few years ago Luna came out with a bunch of Cyclone products, but most are out of stock and it doesn't look like they are going to get more.
I recently picked up one of these kits and have a few questions about the controller.. if anybody could help that would be awesome
1. Do you have to use a 3 speed switch (or jump the connections) to get the most out of the motor? I see when a 3 speed switch is not used, the controller...
