    Mbs Electric Mountainboard-6374 230kv, Vesc, 7s 6200 mah

Well I only used heat gun and preheated the bottom of the PCB to about 100 degrees, then continued to heat drv chip from top, it was really easy in my case, maybe Your VESC manufacturer did use some kind of higher melting poing solder...

It's commonly said that VESC shouldn't be run on 10-12S with motors above 200KV, probably that's also why drv chip died.

Contact them directly, they'll probably give You better price than is on aliexpress. Yup, settings are adjustable, there are pretty much same options as in FVT 12S ESCs, or torqueboards 12S ESC, order usb link cable from them as well or the one sold for FVT esc will also work. When You'll...

I told You, 2 of my 4 VESCs are permanently fried other two had drv chip transplants ;) If it's only drv chip VESC may be salvageable, if You have heat gun You can even replace it Yourself. Those maytech 12S ESCs are bullseye for me, their only downside are breakes, a little to strong and not...

That's really nice to see that I inspired someone! Although, unfortunately VESC didn't work out for me quite well, drv8302 kept failing and I changed ESCs to maytech 120A, they're making my board a BEAST!

Mine turns on when board draws power, it's automatic. Thanks, I made some changes and almost all updates are in my thread on electric-skateboard.builders which is named almost the same.

    1st Electric Mountainboard build

From what I know there's no need to connect battery for flashing firmware, only for programming with BLDC tool.

Get solder wick to remove excessive solder with Your soldering iron, don't do anything unless You deal with shorted pins. Just put solder wick on pins of drv and processor and gently drag solder iron, there are plenty tutorials on YT. Good luck!

Looking for an ESC that is HV(atleast 10s) and is sensored

I ordered them myself, will see how they perform, but I believe in my eMTB they will be much better than VESC and failproof solution. Don't get me wrong, I really admire all the work that Benjamin did, and VESC is awesome, BUT, current 4.X version is not ideal, 6.0 looks like holy grail, but I...

    DIY Boosted inspired electric longboard

Thanks, the board is currently out of order... I had lipo failure quite some time ago and will be making complete rebuild of this board with 18650 li-ons, with some other modifications. I did not had any problems with heat dissipation,

Looking for an ESC that is HV(atleast 10s) and is sensored

APS is generally flier ESC, this maytech one looks like ESC that dexter (torqueboards) is selling, with alu case and in sensored variant. I'll go with maytech.

Looking for an ESC that is HV(atleast 10s) and is sensored

I use 63mm 170 kV motors... I believe VESC 6.0 will be big much better, but for me for now, V 4.10 and 4.11 didn't work well, there always was something...

Looking for an ESC that is HV(atleast 10s) and is sensored

Hey, I have lot's of problems with VESC at 12S and 63mm motors, I'm really tired of it. I have found this, probably am going to order it myself really soon. It supports 12S, hall sensors, and should be way more reliable than VESC. http://www.maytech.cn/en/mtes120a-sbec-2/10377.html
