The Schwinn Global GDS uses a similar battery pack. the supplier is of course no more, a Protanium Part# BP-L2410E I am in Southern Calif, would you be willing to look at it and see if it can be rebuilt/revived?

Did the OP ever have any luck repairing this pack? I'm sure 30v (SLA or other) would be ok, even for the 180W motor on the Global GDS I just picked up - but i too am cautious of trying 36v and not frying something. I also am in need of a key to energize the ESC - in the meantime I am hot-wiring...

I am very interested in what you find out and do. I just picked up a used Schwinn World GDE. It also uses the bp-l2410eb pack which is toast. I'll need a new pack and a charger. I just brought out my security bits and are about to open the case and see if I can build a replacement pack easily...
