if i was the OP i'd try to hit up sam texas for a steel suspension fork. if not, do the build how you're gonna do it, but i completely agree with a high strength epoxy and some of doc's torque arms. heck even if you get the steel fork, why not?

i ended up getting some arch rival 4s out of the brake bin at recycled cycles. theyre in really good shape, i also got some extra pads. the guy at the shop told me they'd be adequate (and i just dont have the money after buying all the other parts for the bike to spend $200 on a disc brake setup)
