    i purchased a Frey in the group buy. There was no customs anything involved. The bikes were shipped and then delivered by Fed Ex from the port, no extra charges of any kind.

    Cycle Analyst erratic watts reading

    Problem solved. I decided to open up the controller and found a loose wire. I think it was the positive wire to the internal shunt. Soldered it back and now no problem. It is great to be able to solve something electrical so easily. At least I hope that is the end of the problem.

    Check to be sure the little lip on the end of the wire connector is pushed all the way in and goes over the spring in the plastic part. Sometimes you need to use a magnifying glass or flashlight shining in there to be sure. If it is not all the way in then it doesn't click and will lose contact.
