    it has a brushed motor on it now and i have added the 4th battery as suggested and so far its all good, i hope it stays that way but if not im going to order one of those universal controlers 24 - 60 vdc for use on 24 - 36 v motors up to 700 watts. here is a post from one of my other threads...

    I know the capacitors are 60v 470s but I have no idea what the FETs are. But yes, thanks, I will take it apart and have a look see. Is it possible or would it be ok to replace them with ones with higher voltage I wonder?

    I have three 12v 12ah batteries connected to a 36v controller so when the 36 v is run down to around 31 v ive got zero power more or less. Is it possible to add more batteries like even one more and have 48v going to a 36 v controller. That will give me 17v to burn till in out of power and etc

    humming, whining controller...why?

    What's up with the whining, and how can I put a stop to it. Granted once the scooter gets rolling along pretty good it almost goes away but up until that point it’s down right annoying.
