I asked him if I could buy one, and have not received a response yet.

Add this to your electric bike

I made a ducted fan attachment, and a 16" car fan attachment. The larger fan was a far superior option in power, sound, and function.

PMP cranks do not work. The Aerobicle does work as you can see it functioning in the video, but their claims of efficiency should be backed up with evidence for verification. You can see it working, I have made a number that work as well. The question is how well they work.

I couldn't get that whole comment in as it was more characters than allowed, the person in charge of the channel also seemed to be very opposed to any critical comments (which is very unfortunate), and so I tried to make it nice in hopes that they would respond to it. "I have been building fan...

Add this to your electric bike

Having built a number of fan systems that I have put on the back of my bike, I can tell you that it is a lot of fun, but none of the ones that I have made have come anywhere close to matching the efficiency of Ebikes. They have been fun though. It is a different feeling and experience. I have...

    12V battery selection

I am just guessing that it is clicking off at 12V, but I don't know how to check what volt it is clicking off at. I was under the impression that I had to disconnect it from a power source before checking the voltage.

    12V battery selection

I have not checked it with a volt meter.... I have A LOT to learn, and I am not sure what type of volt meter I would need :( I am not sure if something like this would work...

As a side note, does anyone know where I can get some A123 batteries? It sounds like cellman is no longer selling them as far as I understand fromm looking through the threads...

    12V battery selection

Thank you very much for your help!! I think from what I have been reading, that I would definitely want a cellLog8, and a new BMS.

    12V battery selection

I don't think that I was overcharging the lifepo4 battery, I basically just had a 12V fan, and when I plugged it into the liFepo4 battery, it didn't work, but when I plugged it into the Nimh, it did. It was a brand new battery, so I am guessing that it was the limitation of the BMS.

    12V battery selection

It's a round cell pack from BatterySpace. It's very similar to the model shown below, but my battery pack says 20.4Ah while their packs now say 19.8Ah: http://www.batteryspace.com/LiFePO4-26650-Battery-12.8V-19.8Ah-253Wh-32A-rate-w/-PCB-CU-MM173-PID.aspx I am going to use this pack to power...

    12V battery selection

Thanks! The CellLog 8S looks like a great device that also works on LiFe batteries. Do you think that I could just replace the BMS on my LiFe battery with a CellLog 8S to be able to run at 12V, or should I get LiPo cells to run with it? I really like this device though, thanks for the tip...

    12V battery selection

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on a light and safe 12V 40AH battery pack that I could use. I am currently using three 12V 10AH Nimh packs, and I think the best choice for what I need is Lipo (although I am worried about the fire risk from overcharging). I have a 40AH 13.3V...

    12V Controller selection help

Thanks for the suggestions Amberwolf! I can't believe that I said series, I definitely meant parallel. You were correct that the problem with *most* of the controllers was that they were not continuous, and the other ones just didn't work. I found a remote controller awhile back that was...

    12V Controller selection help

Is there anyone who can suggest a 12v controller that I could use to power four 12V 18A fans? Ideally I would like to have a remote motor controller, but anyone that can suggest one that actually works would be very much appreciated. If it does not have a remote control, than reversable would...

The SECRET to making algae-based biofuels work

Hello?? I just gave the solution to this problem but no one seems to have noticed... Adding in an array of Solar Tubes is exactly what this situation needs. All you need is just to add some self cleaning glass (especially since the main aspect component that causes self cleaning glass to...

    New Water Powered Toy

Thank you for posting a link to that patent Kingfish! It was a very interesting read. I have been fascinated by Klaus Halbach and his work with Dr. Richard Post for a long time. Together they did some amazing work at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, but I felt like they left some of...

    New Water Powered Toy

Ok well, let me explain. I had planned to put this on its own thread, but I wasn't expecting many serious responses anyways so I might as well put it here. This is very similar to the compressed air Halbach motor/generator idea that I talked about earlier, but these new ideas are designed to...

    New Water Powered Toy

Ugh... looked for "Jetlev," the name of the company, didn't see anything, and I made my post...... ugh. Well... My next post was going to be on pressure and gravity induced halbach systems which I highly doubt there has been a post on before because I just thought of the idea a few days ago...
