Re: Street LEGAL Custom Bomber build! :-)

It cost me around 700€ to get the bike street legal. The bike is always kept inside the house. I did ride in the winter too. The cold temperatures though gave me a lot less range. Sometimes the battery was all drained after only 40 km. Balancing the cells is important. I have 3 Displays...

Re: Street LEGAL Custom Bomber build! :-)

Status update. The bike has now completed 20,000 Km. Only one issue with the controller had to be taken care of. Two fets had blown and where replaced. Still running on the first set of Turnigy Nanotech Lipo. Cycle count 614 The battery will be replaced next year. Never will understand all...

Here´s a short status update: Still have the pack in use that has given me notching but joy for so much time now. The odometer reads 17986 Km now. It has lost a bit of capacity but still performs well. Had to swap 2 blown fets a few weeks ago. That´s it, no other issues. Still love the thrill...

Cool, now that´s a sleek word of the year. To go with that, may i serve you the almost finished steam chamber. It will hold a triple micro coil setup. Still got to machine some parts. Hope it´ll finally smoke up my place this weekend. Will stay in the toolshop all day tomorrow for getting...

Finished the push button switch. Next is the battery pod that will hold a 26650 lipo cell. Here´s a size comparison with the Tobeco Cerberus sitting on top of a Hades mechanical mod

For big steam clouds and loads of taste the Tobeco Cerberus is highly recommendable. Instal the Hades mechanical mod using a 26650 lipo battery and you´ve got yourself a serious smoke machine. On mine 3 Kanthal coils with 7 turns on a 2,4mm diameter are just the thing for getting...

Re: Street LEGAL Custom Bomber build! :-)

Yes, true they don´t make custom length anymore. But, my motorcycle dealer Thomas Luck somehow got them to make me these spokes. For 117 € i got spokes for both front and real wheels. Got another set here right now and will lace up something this weekend. :-)

Re: Street LEGAL Custom Bomber build! :-)

The spokes are from a German manufacturer called " Kleeblatt Speichen" They custom make any length and AWG size. Not cheap but great stainless steel quality. Had absolutely no issues with these. The bike is about to break the 12000 Km of total distance traveled. The sprocket, or...

First assembly of pump units plus vaporizing chamber. Next up on the to do list, the design and build of the Lipopod. :-)

Vaping around ( Video on page 2 )

Progress! Yes. The vapor chamber with triple coils is almost finished. The mechanical mod on the left side is from Hades. The pump actuator. Turn the dial and inside it´s groove a needle is carried up and down. The connected pump rod moves the liquid according to your twist. :-)

Weed can be vaped as well. A much purer ride, without all the toxins that distracts it´s focus as compared to smoking it.

Spent many hours machining more pieces. The first of 3 pump units finally works. It took forever to get these delicate threads smoothed out. :-) The Lipo battery holder is the thing on the right side. It´s unregulated and thus allows sub ohm vaping. :-) A dripper was installed using a double...

Re: Street LEGAL Custom Bomber build! :-)

Staying with the HK cells is probably the best solution for me. They are cheap and if treated nice rather reliable. After all the abuse my pack had to take it´s really surprising that all of the cells are still good. Swapping out dud ones is no problem either. Pulling out the master plug on...

Finally, got the 3 liquid tanks finished. All of them feature a built in pump that is activated by turning a dial and thus transporting the liquid into the atomizer. Next up is the design and build of the vaporizing chamber. :-)

Personally I prefer those vaporisers that allow the user to wind the heating coil themselves. By this method one can decide what coil and wick material is preferred and how to do the windings. It takes some time to figure out how the diameter, number of turns and coil material affect the...

Looking good, so yes, it´s worth it. Just have to wait for my HK Lipos to die on me! They are refusing to do just that. Had a look at the CA today and it showed 307 cycles. Still working great. The odometer shows 10714 Km. All done with the pack the bike was built around. This...

Yep, the Cromotor is still sitting in my basement. I like the X motors because all that metal just takes longer to heat up. The one in use on my build has been vented and it runs cool even at 8,7 Kw continuos power. This was not the case with the Cromotor. Yes, it´s much lighter but at this...
