    jonescg's E-max 110s lithium conversion

I don't think you should be riding it like that Chris. Do you reckon yours just had a cup inserted in the frame tube? The cup and or the frame tube must be really flogged out if it moves enough to alter the fork angle.

    jonescg's E-max 110s lithium conversion

Hello Rube I bought an EMax recently with help from Chris. I'm in Brisbane and I am thinking of selling it. It has no batteries and I just don't think I have the time to get it all going. You are welcome to come and have a look if you are interested.

    DarylMc EMAX 110S battery

Thanks for the info. With my extra weight I will look to put them to the back based on that. All scooters I know have rear weight bias.

    DarylMc EMAX 110S battery

I was worried you might say that since I had my mind set otherwise :) I read the back is way too hard so I had in mind I might have to to change the rear spring. The front feels quite firm too with no batteries. I'm a fair bit heavier than you. Do you think the rear spring will be OK or still...

    DarylMc EMAX 110S battery

Hi Chris This is the only pic I have now. At this stage I am still just measuring it up but I also want to consider how to secure them into the battery compartment. Do you have any thoughts on keeping the batteries right towards the front as far as weight distribution goes?

If you get the chance check out this song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGhoLcsr8GA I don't think I've ever heard a song about scooters before. Maybe someday I will be hearing a song about electric ones:)

Hi Chris I was a bit slow getting organised and neither Warren or I could make it there. The websites for the series and QLD Raceway are terrible. Warren tells me the bike went down? I hope it was still a good weekend and please make it loud and clear when you are coming back again. Good chance...

    jonescg's E-max 110s lithium conversion

Hi Chris I have a question regarding the EMax Does the single sided swingarm allow for tyre changes without removing the motor or do people generally remove the motor anyway? Nice work by the way. That's my kind of machine:)

jonescg's NEW electric racebike BUILD thread!

Nice work Chris. Is there anything you can't do? Don't answer that. I had and idea for the Yasa motor. Maybe you can save me some pondering. Put the pancake motor into the frame. Probably not on the left side drive facing inwards, since it would restrict ground clearance. But on the right hand...

jonescg's NEW electric racebike BUILD thread!

Hi Chris I was wondering regarding the handling of the bike. Have put much thought into the rotating mass of the rotor and gyroscopic forces or whatever the proper name is. I think changing directions would create significant forces due to the spinning motor. Do you know how it compares to say a...

Hi Chris It was a pleasure to meet you and the crew at QLD raceway. Hope the bike made it out of here in one piece and Warren did not bust it out of the crate for donuts:) I'm getting old and haven't been to watch races for a while. Goodness it was a revelation to see the gassers stinking it...

Hi Ripperton Thanks for the videos The speed differential was huge on the straight and I'm sure everyone will get a kick out of watching that. I had a great weekend to get out there, see the bikes and meet everyone. All the best for the next race.

jonescg's NEW electric racebike BUILD thread!

I was there for the first 4 lap race. Voltron EVO certainly had some speed on the straights and it looks like they have a lot of potential with the bike. Knowing the efforts that went into building the bike and getting it to Queensland Raceway it was tense moments to watch the rear wheel...
