Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

I remember Justin mentioning an update to the fuel gauge and a change to the pixel count or something along those lines. I can't for the life of me find it. I've got a 21s9p pack of Samsung 25R cells. I'm only charging to 87.1v and it shows one pixel off full charge on the gauge. I've set it to...

    em3ev great customer service

Paul is great, and a massive help during our build as well. He must have answered over 100 questions from us over the space of 12 months. He also built us a very specifically sized custom pack perfect to the mm.

Charger with no voltage output after adjusting pot

Paul mentioned that there's a relay fitted, so the battery needs to be connected to the charger for it to read any output voltage. Silly me didn't even check that. Adjusted the voltage, current, and when the light switches to trickle mode, and all is great again!

Charger with no voltage output after adjusting pot

Didn't know that was possible. Not sure what's involved in applying load while the charger is off? I've waited around for the charger to completely discharge to no effect. Couldn't see an on board circuit battery. I'll wait to see what Paul says.

Charger with no voltage output after adjusting pot

Hi All, I've been using a charger rated to 87.6v @6A purchased off Paul at em3ev for quite some time. Only up until a few minutes ago, the charger was working fine, although outputting 85.5v. I wanted to bring it up to 86.1v or there abouts, so I've tried adjusting one the pot closest to the DC...

    Source for Axle Washers?

Had the same issues as you during our build and spent many nights on a grinder! Fortunately none of ours have compressed and snapped off from the freewheel or brake side. We've got a nice wide stainless steel tie holding our phase cables and cromotor spaces in. We've grinded these ones down to...

Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Thanks for all your work Justin. Love the left button and readjustment of the PAS/ebrake relationship at slower speeds. Two things we were wanting!

Qulbix Raptor ebike + frame kit

Funny you mention that. We actually posed the same question to Magura who were involved with our build. Whether it's for their own promotional reasons or not, once we told them the weight and speed of our build, they would only send the MT7's for us to install, along with e-brake switches. They...

Qulbix Raptor ebike + frame kit

There are a number of people running regen, including variable regen. I choose not too, because I don't think it's worth it in terms of what you get back. We also get free disc pads as part of the sponsorship, so wearing down pads faster isn't really an issue either. Stopping power with regen...

No regen here, just disc brakes.

Qulbix Raptor ebike + frame kit

Cutting the steerer is quite simply, once you know how much to cut. You'll know how much to cut once you get your seating position and handlebars fitted. As offloader mentioned, the headtube of the Raptor is 150mm which is long! We only cut about 1.5cm off our Marzocchi's because the...

    Qulbix Raptor 140

No local machinist close by? We tried to play around with some of Maguras adapters but we couldn't get any to work without modifying at least two brackets. Ended up just modifying the original. Snells also had the same issue on his Raptor build. Someone else may be able to jump in and recommend...

    Qulbix Raptor 140

Check out our build thread. We ended up taking about 6mm off our adapter to make it work.

    Qulbix Raptor 140

Hey Offloader, We ruined the threads in the brake adapter without even over torquing, the metal is just too soft. So wherever the bolt was important, we used helicoils, and they've been fantastic. Using a larger bolt would've eventually had the same issue.

    Qulbix Raptor 140

Offloader I agree about the Nordlock washers for the swingarm, axle and dropouts. You recommended them a few months back and we adopted them in our build. We also used helicoils in the dropouts and brake adapter, and changed all the bolts over in the dropout and swingarm to add even more...

Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Thanks for the response teklektik! Just so I can make sure I'm on the right track. I'm using a 12 pole cadence sensor and an Aux Pot from here http://www.ebikes.ca/shop/ebike-parts/ca-accessories/aux-input/ca3-auxp.html, that I want to use to adjust the PAS level using AutoTorqPAS (TorqPAS)...

Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Love this thread. Thanks to Keplers post here https://www.endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=37964&start=1575#p752388 for some insight into some issues with PAS we're trying to figure out ourselves. We didn't want the PAS kick some have experienced, and slowing down the fastrate...

Amazing how much more wh you can fit in there using lipos, compared to 18650s!

Qulbix Raptor ebike + frame kit

Anyone know what these spacers are for? The inside diameter is too big to fit on the outside of the swingarm, since the washer and the bolt are too small to press it, and it doesn't look like it fits on the inside of the swingarm either.
  24. marcn

    Qulbix Raptor 140

Hey Jay, Was originally going to use those spacers as washers on the outside. I've used up all my spacers on the freewheel and brake side. Ended up getting 16mm nord locks for the outside.

    Qulbix Raptor 140

Thanks Offloader. I've used up the C washers on the inside already. I actually had to cut down the top part to make sure the ziptie could push the wires right up against the axle, making sure I still left part of it to grip onto the axle so it can't be taken off easily. If I didn't do that, I...
