    Bought some clones from China Wana test them see how close they are to what they claim VTC6 3120 mah (yea right lol). Last VTC5 I got were actually pretty decent performing pulled 20 Amos out of 1 cell for a while never even got warm. LMO batteries.

    Am I getting safer? I got l thicker nickel strips. Added in battery spacers and top insulation. Btw I had a very hard time getting the strips to stick to the battery with my welder. I had current maxed out with 4p 6p and 8p enabled the handle got very hot and it wouldn't stick well for me...

    Well I have all stuff ordered that I need could only find 8x.15mm nickel strips. I disassembled the packs I had carefully came out with 41 18650s that I deemed acceptable shape others I tossed. All 41 cells tested 4.15-4.18v 90% were 4.16-4.17v.

    To be honest also I only checked the voltage on the cells and put them together they all read 3.85-3.88v they are cheap China clones.

    The batteries are so tight with the strips that if I try to cut the series connection they spark sometimes I'm guessing from the protection wrap getting scraped off? Doesn't make sense to me... P.S. this is the 4s that came apart on me I used thicker stuff for this but had problems with it...

    I'm scared to even mess with these right now I tossed the 2p2s out as I don't even want to risk it blowing up guess I don't understand the structure of the lithium 18650 is the wrap the only protection from negative to positive or something?
