    Help w/ parts for QS205 / KLS7230S build

I bought the motor laced off Em3ev so here's to hoping they send me the torque arm as well. I saw the Tektro auriga brakes as an option but also read some mixed reviews in terms of performance, although I do not really expect to ride beyond 30-35 mph ever outside of controlled circumstances...

    IMREN IMR 3200mah batteries

https://www.18650batterystore.com/Imren-p/imren-3200mah-40a.htm Has anyone tried using these in their battery packs? 10-15A continuous, 40A max. I think I did read that the discharge and Ah work indirectly in that if you want high Ah, you'll get low discharge, and vice versa. Is that normal...

What are some reliable cell sellers?

From what I've found from there, it seems 18650batteryshop and imrbatteries offer the most affordable prices. 18650batteryshop apparently does price matching too.

What are some reliable cell sellers?

Amberwolf set me off on a rabbit hole once I realized I was searching the wrong terms. Through his help, I started a list of sellers, and continued to search through Google as well. With all the stores, I cross-checked to see what was said about them again at ES. The final list of shops I'm...

What are some reliable cell sellers?

That's what I thought too. Also, I've found some cell providers through some further research on ES so my questions have been answered.

What are some reliable cell sellers?

For clarification on my own post, I should add... Ideally, I'd like to buy a decent quantity of batteries for 3 bikes (building with friends). One of them plan on building a 1500w motor bike with long range. The other is eyeing a 5000w kit from Aliexpress. I've already purchased the QS205 V3...

What are some reliable cell sellers?

I'm based in NY and hoping to find some sellers outside of Aliexpress. My friends and I are all building a bike so looking to buy a decent quantity. So far, all the promising leads do not ship to the States. Any help would be appreciated.

Thoughts on a controller controller for the Em3ev 3kw motor

Going back to your first statement though, why do you say I should reconsider the QS205? I would think the 3kw motor should be more than enough for a commuter bike, no? I’ve test rode mopeds with smaller setups that still had enough zip.

Thoughts on a controller controller for the Em3ev 3kw motor

Am I foolish to think a hub motor install would be simpler? I'd just have to work on expanding the swingarm... I was considering the Cyclone for a minute but for what I need, at my level of experience, the hub just seemed like the option that made the most sense - won't be going up many hills if...

Thoughts on a controller controller for the Em3ev 3kw motor

After constant debates by myself whether to get the 3kw motor from Em3ev or the QS205 motor, I think I'm sticking with 3kw. As a new builder, I'm looking for some suggestions on the controller to get for it. Here's what I've narrowed it down to... Em3ev has the 72V 80A Sabvoton Sinewave...
