    Really? When I google "Best grease for Plastic gears" the first thing that comes up says most manufactures recommend white lithium grease or silicone-based grease? I will look for the grease you listed and or make sure my lithium is not petroleum based.

    Thanks for the link to the new thread. I will be following this closely and will build one of these once you have a working model and an app for Garmin or iphone or both. Do you plan on this having the motor temp option for display?

    A wireless setup like this would be assume. I have a Garmin 830 and my iphone on my trike already. Would be great to remove the display and some wires and just have a small box attached next to the motor. Let me know if you need a beta tester.

    Today I went out on a 10 mile ride, air temps high 60’s. Had the power set at level 7-9 and my motor temp got up to 167 f. The house was very warm to hot to the touch.     I have my temp set for imperial. The up and down increment it 1 step at a time until I press the power button to set the value and then it jumps to a different value. Did you do it on an 860c? I will video it and send a video to you email or I can try to post it here.

    They were both green but the remote is a darker green. The 850c I think had the blue remote connector.

    Not sure is anyone brought this up but I just got a new 860C wit the 070 firmware and on startup it says 850C firmware. Just letting you know, it is not a big deal.

    Does anyone have a link to the 860C display manual? I have one and pulled the remote switch off it without looking at which connector it was one. It will plug into both but the color only matches one of them but want to make sure that is the right one. One connector is longer than the other...

    This morning I went to flash v0.7.0 because I was on 6.8 and had some of the bad issues. Anyway I hooked it up and flashed it and now the display is dead and will not power up. My steps were as follows. Battery removed from the trike. Display disconnected but remote buttons still connected...

    No it is 140F temp. Before using it I compared the temp to the air temp it had been sitting in and it was correct. The motor was just slightly warm on the outside when it was 135 on the reading.
