    Bafang throttle cut off issue

Also tested throttle this morning, it reads .83v up to 3.94 so I believe it checks out. Any tips are appreciated. Is there a way to test a cheap controller?

    Bafang throttle cut off issue

Also should add, I just threw a multimeter on the 48v battery and it reads 54.4 v so I think it’s good charge wise.

    Bafang throttle cut off issue

Yep, mig welding around the seat area. I did have the throttle and lcd on the handlebars while I did so and the controller was connected to them but not attached to the frame. I guess If those things were grounded something could have fried the controller, seems unlikely though since it still...

    Bafang throttle cut off issue

Hi y’all new issue here so I thought I’d start a different thread. I have a cheap banfang front wheel hub like the ones used in Uber/jump bikes https://bafang-e.com/en/oem-area/components/component/motor/fm-g020250350d/ Although it was a little unruly on my little bmx bike It was working...

TOO much torque on 20in Uber Bafang front wheel

I acually put the wheel in the rear to see if it would handle better today and it was terrifying! Total wheelie machine! so much for the idea of welding part of a rear hub on so I could attach a free wheel. dogman: thanks for the info on wattage, after changing the handlebar angle to...

TOO much torque on 20in Uber Bafang front wheel

Hey y'all. I My usual ebike is an old mountain bike i threw together with 26in rear wheel drive. Considering how little I pedal an ebike I figured why not make a much smaller one so its easier to throw in the car for little trips. I slapped together a pretty odd little bike out of an old...

New here and have some capacitor ?s

I appreciate the reply! The battery is a 60v 29ah niu scooter battery. I’ll have to brainstorm around how to get my multimeter on there while riding. I’m totally confused since nothing has changed since I last rode it earlier in the week, the bat is at 59v and now I can’t even get to the end...

New here and have some capacitor ?s

Hey y’all I’m working on my first emoped built mostly out of parts I had around. It has a 48v controller with 63v caps and motor with a 60v battery. Not the ideal combo but it’s what I have. The battery has never been charged over 60v and it ran great until today. I went to ride it for the...

Emax s110 scooter with 60v lithium batterie

Hi Nico, I am having the same problem as you! I have an old motobecane moped I've build into an eped of sorts with a 48v brushless motor/controller (caps are rated for 63v) My battery reads about 59v at the moment but after being under load and going about 20mph the voltage goes down and the...
